Art is a Revolt Against Fate: While seeing Beauty and the Beast in 3D today,

I realized something bizarre.

The rose is supposed to wilt before the Beast’s 21st birthday, but during “Be Our Guest,” Lumiere says they’ve been under the spell for ten years.

So that means the Beast was a total dick…
